About the Artist
Hi there! My name is Edgar Miller, and I am a native Texan living in Fort Worth. I am a portrait, commercial, and fine art photographer. My experience as a photographer started in the darkroom back in 1979. Yes, it means I'm from the film era! I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, and my passion extends beyond photography, drawing, and painting to include a solid knowledge base in science and math.
Putting people in their best light in a comfortable, relaxed setting is one of my specialties. I enjoy creating wonderful photographs of families, high school seniors, couples, and pets to cherish for generations. There is no better feeling than seeing the happy faces of my clients looking at themselves or loved ones in their finished photographs. So, connect with me to get yourself or your loved ones' personalities captured in a photograph.
My technical mastery of photography and editing allows me to photograph any subject for promotion and commercial use. With high-resolution cameras and industry-standard color calibration, your product or place will be accurately represented in print and screen.
Explore my fine art photography here on my site. It is an extension of the drawing and painting skills of my art degree. Over the past two decades, I’ve showcased my work and received awards in various Texas and national exhibitions. My fine art photographs are also in private collections. I’m proud to be a long-time member of the Texas Photographic Society and the Texas Artists Coalition. My photographic interests are many and my fine art galleries here on my website are the result of always having a camera in hand. Find a peaceful or dramatic scene to enhance your walls. I also do commissioned work.
Additionally, I teach photography to groups and individuals getting started or wanting to learn new skills. It is a joy to share my knowledge with people with similar photographic passions. Let's start improving your photographic skills in one of my classes!
All my photography draws inspiration from my late father and my college photo professor, Keith Carter. I’m constantly seeking innovative ways to capture subjects through my lens.
On a personal note, I have been married to my best friend/assistant/wife for over 30 years. She also is my equipment specialist (which means she holds camera equipment on shoots). We added that in our marriage vows; "To have and to hold my camera gear..." I love the outdoors, specifically, the mountains, and my favorite food group is chocolate chip cookies!
Thank you for stopping by! As you can see on my website and social media, I strive to put everyone and everything in the best light. So, reach out and let me know how my photographic skills and knowledge can help you!
